No, I wouldn't qualify as we will be on 457 visa. I don't really mind as we got LAFHA in our contract. The hours would suit us as well - my wife is pregnant, due on 1st April, and generally will not...

LAFHA and rental costs

Dear all
That's me again about LAFHA.
I got an e-mail from my employer, they said they are preparing amended documents with LAFHA and they have requested the rental costs I'm paying now in the UK....

Hmm, not too sure as I don't have one in UK and that's why I'm being so cautious :unsure:
I do own a flat in a different country and in there your name is on title deeds.

I don't know my intensions right now (we have 457 visa, and believe need some time in there to figure out if we like or not), so at the moment I do not intend to stay permanently in Australia.

Weekly rent is there anything else included (I heard that you do not pay for water, sewerage, bin collection and pretty council tax is included too)

We have a son (3.5 year old). My wife is currently 16 weeks pregnant and she is due on 01/04/2012.
It is absolutely necessary that our son goes to a nursery when we have a new baby.
