Re: Chicago vs Florida Shootings

Please don't ruin my mental image of North Korea as an idyllic, utopian holiday getaway. You'll be telling us next that all those grief stricken, tear stained faces at the 'The Dear Leaders' funeral...

Re: Chicago vs Florida Shootings

Straight reporting does not, in my opinion, constitute involvement.

Re: Chicago vs Florida Shootings

I think it was mentioned earlier in the thread, there are around 30 states with similar Stand Your Ground or Castle Doctrines on the statutes.

Re: Keurig coffee maker.....?

The Cuisinart incarnation of the Keurig holds up a little longer than the standard Keurig and is a little more robust. Regardless of make I have found their customer service to be excellent, if your...

The points he makes are actually closer to the question I initially posed and are, therefore, in perfect context.

Re: Chicago vs Florida Shootings

But we don't know the facts behind the Chicago murders do we? As I noted, they have been under reported and are now officially listed as 'sad facts of life'.

Re: Chicago vs Florida Shootings

I am not seeking a resolution, my point was to highlight the inequity in reporting. Without the spotlight of media attention these social issues never come to the attention of the wider population,...
