Does the Letter of No Objection apply to the entire UAE or only the emirate in which you are contracted? I knew someone who was booted from Sharjah but came back to Dubai within 6 months hassle free.

Go to The Wanderers in Sharjah. They have a couple of full sized grass pitches and a bar. Brilliant place, unless you're not part of the Irish crowd.
