I have tried to reach the visa office too through the email address and the case specific emails to no avail. It's been 45 months already since my application started and 8 months after my medicals....

thanks for the information. It will be the end of my 44th month tomorrow going by the CIC processing time for pre-feb 2008. I hope to send them a mail tonite and hope to get a favourable reply.
