Thanks! Yes, definitely a better position to be in and a big relief. We started the process with the company lawyers 3 1/2 years ago so it has been a long time coming!

Update: our permanent residency has been granted! Oh yes, champagne was popped last night. So it took 7 1/2 months for our I -485s to be approved.

Just wondering if anyone has any recent I 485 processing times to share.

My husband and I submitted our I 485 forms at the beginning of August 2014 and are still waiting for green card approval...

I did this last year as it was much cheaper to buy a return than one way. I didn't cancel the return flight (I think there was a charge to cancel it as it counted as a change!), I just didn't show up...
