My appologies ... it was in fact Yahoo uk site I read it on (I just did a search).
In any case I don't see what point it is when a Nissan leaf which WILL do 3 times the miles is far cheaper anyway....

As in my view the US DOT specs are far less rigorous than any British regulations I can't see what the US laws could be ?

I think something is wrong here, I know several USAF personnel who bought cars in Europe and imported them here and still after many years run them, all they did was change the registration etc....

It seems you still need a landline anyway for the internet link. I have a verizon deal it's 9c a minute to a britsh land line and 29c a minute to a mobile over...

Thanks kaffy, its a dealer warranty, not honda, I contacted Honda's web site after posting that thread and they told me the 3000 is just an american way of selling more oil LOL
