Yup, I feel your pain, too. We got hit with the same thing at Buffalo. We applied for my husband's EAD just days after the change - and didn't know till we got up to that counter that we wouldn't...

A few weeks ago my husband got his EAD card in the mail just days after the online status said he was approved. His application was done at the new "National Benefits Center"...

Thanks - yeah, I still definitely plan to go early, it's just nice to get other people's imput. I had heard that they tend to limit how many AOS's they'll do in a day, so thanks for confirming that...
