At that point my employer said they would support PR following two years employment and we wanted to avoid the de facto fees.

It's definitely 28 days, this has been confirmed by Immigration - my old 457 expired so I was / am on a bridging visa.

Can't do the Working Holiday visa, I'm 33 years old.
