Re: Employer Nomination Scheme - OZ emigration

Where did I say it was? I said he needs to look, and I wanted to say state sponsored not employer, but put a note that the point system will change. If I'm not mistaken the points system is used with...

Re: Employer Nomination Scheme - OZ emigration

Go to www.immi.gov.au then Visas > Workers > Skilled migration and look into ENS, you'll see a section called Eligibility, you'll find there all things you'll need. But do keep in mind that a new...

Re: Baker

http://www.acacia-au.com/anzsco/351111.php says that Baker is not on the SOL, so you'll have to look into a state sponsored visa.

Re: Newly qualified RGN want to immigrate to work and live in Australia.

The one way I know is www.seek.com.au , others might pitch in with some more ideas.

Re: Where do I start ?

1. You should start at www.immi.gov.au
2. It depends on a lot of factors that only you know (age, education, work experience, etc.). There are several permanent visa options, you can see them all on...

Re: Five years Australian (of past seven years)

As you can see in the links, with current system you need to have been employed 3 of the last 4 years to get points, and with the new 3 out of last 5, or 5 out of 7, or 8 out of 10.

Re: Very Urgent!!!!

Your experience will either have to match your degree, or you will have to wait to have 6 years experience, then you can apply regardless of degree.

See here for current: http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general-skilled-migration/175/eligibility-specific-experience.htm

Re: Very Urgent!!!!

I first though you were stating your case because I didn't see any question marks :) I assume you are going for Skilled Independent (175)?

1. Your degree has to be at least 65% highly relevant to...

Re: medicals and police checks

I think they will tell you when you should do med and police checks some time during evaluation (after you apply). I'm not sure about the validity.

Re: Does seperation in relationship matter for joint application?

Migration agents (that help you with the application and all) have different rates, I can't give you an estimate there. But using one has no direct influence on your application, they can't speed the...

Re: Does seperation in relationship matter for joint application?

It's definitely not cheap. And if you get rejected don't expect a refund :)

Re: Does seperation in relationship matter for joint application?

Around $2500 for first installment, about 400-500 for skills assessment, if the partner has less than vocational english then about $3500 more, plus medical and police checks. But you have the...

Re: Does seperation in relationship matter for joint application?

I'm not sure about the separation, an agent consult might be a good choice, but one problem is if you leave it out and they find out about it, it wont look good.

As for the new points system, here...

Re: Does seperation in relationship matter for joint application?

I'm not sure how it will affect the application, but it will ask if and why you have been separated.

Also note that after July 1st this year a new points system will be in effect, by which you...

Re: Five years Australian (of past seven years)

The experience has to be proven. To be accepted it needs to be highly relevant to the occupation you are applying, full time, in a paid position, junior/training positions wont be take into account.

Re: Over the hill .......

An agent wont help you if you don't have the necessary requirements. But you're in luck because in July the new points system will be in effect and the limit will be 49. However, since the points...

Is there a particular reason for changing your name right before submitting an application?

I can't be sure as I don't know how they evaluate application internally, but such a move might look...

Re: Medical Concern - Ceasarian Birth?

I'm new here, but you really seem like you have an attitude problem.

My comment wasn't directed just towards you, for some reason the forum includes the quote wether I hit Quote or Quick Reply.

Re: can anyone reccommend a good imigration agent if any and what is the going rate?

Well, I wouldn't say that with the new points system coming in July that it will be any more complicated than it is. The points are just distributed differently, it might be an advantage for you, or...

Re: can anyone reccommend a good imigration agent if any and what is the going rate?

Is your case complex? You generally don't need an agent and you can apply personally. It takes some reading to go through all the material, see if you are eligible and all that. But the costs are...

Re: ACS

If you can prove highly relevant work experience for over 6 years, then you can be approved even without a degree.
