Goa is fine when you are well, one of the most beautiful places on earth, better to make sure you are in a fit state for it. If you are going for just a holiday it is just as important to keep well...

Hi there, In Goa/India there are definitely things to be aware of.

The main thing in India in general is to absolutely avoid ingesting the tap water.

Get your visa you need one to gain entry.

Thanks that is handy John, was not much info on the Dabolim website about services on offer. We only have a few 1,000's and 500's no 100's etc for a taxi. You know I look forwards to coming back to...

Thanks, I expect their recession/sanctions kicking in a bit. Sad for the Goan's really. Not that Russian's are a final deciding factor but it is one, sitting as the only sole Europeans on the beach...

Seems like 80pct+ of tourists are Russian.
Taxis won't move for less than 100 Rupees.
No mosquito bites (using DEET)
Partner bitten 4 times and used the anti...

Malaria is a serious illness and the very terrible strain does exist in Goa, 2 cases reported in 2013. The only thing *not understanding here* is that I have now made my own...

Appreciate the advice, just thought at least I know I have them and they are Kosha and not counterfeit tablets. The sell by is 2018 so they will last a while. I got them for £65.00 in the end.
