To give a little more information the best exchange rate I have found here in the UK is 1.1565 with zero commission.

Would I get better than that in Italy?

I assumed that because I would be paying Italian tax, that this would be given to the European branch of my company when they registered me as an employee. No wonder nobody knows what I'm talking...
