I entered on a k1 visa , obtained the work permit/visa/employment authorisation
Whatever you want to call it . And yes I've been using it .
I had applied to the university quite some time ago .

I had applied for my work visa , last year in October , it arrived just after Xmas .
Yes I have been working , and also applying to better positions and so on .

Hi there , no haven't lost the house or car...yet .
However the job I have lost , because when they do the background check they will see I am not permitted to work anymore . And it was a dream job...

In the letter they sent , they say they have asked for the affidavit ....but they have not contacted me at all since last year when they told me to go for...
