Marie, when I mentioned " choosing" I was talking about a long time ago- before 1975 and we were told by the Spanish consulate that at the age of 18 they would have to renounce one of the passports....

Why not visit the mother and toddlers group that meets at St.George´s church in Madrid - Wednesday and Friday mornings I think. There must be mothers there who can give you more advice than I can.
