OK now i'm confused!

Our TWP runs out Feb 12th next yr, CIC have had our app since April so 'in theory' our PR should be through any day between now and March (based on timeline from cic)

Hi Guys,

Update time! got AOR and medical requests in the same email on June 7th, had medicals done June 21st
Seems to be moving nice and quickly.......fingers crossed

I was told that you can drive on a UK license for up to 90 days from arriving in Canada, a friend of mine was about 4/5 months off 2 years so drove on his UK...

Hmmm just cheked my old policy: You have purchased Standard cover for a Worldwide journey lasting up to 11 Months.
So maybe they have changed their policy?. Check your provinces...

Received our BC PNP approval letter yesterday :thumbsup:

Only took around 12 weeks which is faster than the 16-18 we were told. Now for the next stage..... :D

Really? we had a nightmare getting car finance as our SIN numbers started with a '9' which is for termorary residents so an automatic decline. Credit history wasn't the issue at all, they eventually...

You can only apply for the IEC visa when its open again, probably dec/jan?. You cannot extend a working holiday visa just apply for a 2nd year now.

Hi Emily, we were in a similar position to you last year, came on BUNAC 1 yr and had to apply for LMO for TWP now just sent off for BCPNP.

Just to let you know I've had X2 TWP's done at POE (most recent in Feb'11) and wasn't asked for a police certificate on either occasion.
