advice for citizenship exam on Friday

My hubby and I are sitting our citizenship exam on Friday 17th July in Calgary .
We are coming from Bowden and have to be there 30 mins before exam starts at 9am.
I am concerning myself that there...

My husband and I received our request to sit our citizenship test on July 17th 2015 in Calgary..the letter also started that if we pass we will be sworn in with our oath on the same day.

update:
I called police station and reported card stolen.....police officer visited me and took report of incident.

I called cic and had to complete solemn declaration of stolen pr card but...

I went to police station today to report it and ut was closed for weekend...I nyiw have to wait till Monday.

we have still not had any news of our citizenship exam but last night my pr card was stolen...do you know whether I need to have this replaced when Im expecting to become a citizen soon?

Citizenship in Alberta
Our pr card expires August 2016.
Our family citizenship application was received June 2014 and it began processing August 2014....our application is currently 'in process'....

Friends from BC passed citizenship exam today after only 6 month wait since sending application.. I'm so happy for them but meanwhile nothing for us yet in...

document checklist for Canadian citizenship

On the document checklist for the application for citizenship it asks for landing paper or confirmation of permanent residence..... This is in addition to copies of both sides of our PR card.

My husband was nominated by the province of Alberta (Ainp) and we have had PR since 2011.......it just seems crazy that we may need to spend over $300 to go through the Ielts exam.

Oh wow..really?
I thought we had to always have a valid PR card ?
Interesting to find out that we could let it lapse so long as we had no need to leave Canada.

If the Canadian citizenship can take a 'while'......what will happen meantime if my permanent residency runs out?

Can I just further inquire that if we decide to renew our British passports whilst waiting on Canadian citizenship ....does this mean we do not need a Canadian passport until the British ones expire?...
