Thanks. The latest is however that Samsonite won't replace the case but they will replace the lock that doesn't work.

The notes never say why in my experience, I've had it happen at Key West, Las Vegas and Newark so far.

Unfortunately I purchased what I though was a purple case, when it turned up it was more pink! One of the problems of Internet shopping!
