Do they send out an email as well,once they finalize the application or is it only the letter in the post?

I am under Whittlesea council.
Do you know your dates for application,test/interview and approval of application?
I know,it can depend on workloads amongst other things...

Thanks.Yes,I was referring to an earlier absence.
Also,there was a reference on a few other forums that the applicant could possibly 'choose' a council where the ceremony could be conducted...

We lodged a 309 application in Jan through a MARA reg agent in Jan and lodged a tourist application soon after for my wife;she was granted a single entry visa for 6 months....

If your daughther was born in Australia AND you were a permanent resident at the time of her birth,she would be judged as an Australian citizen,by birth.

Lawful residence can be any valid visa and cocoa has entered on a visitor's in 2005...

One has to have a validated visa,(visitor,work,ETA or Residency) AND need to be on the PR,for at least the year,before,one makes the application.
Am sure,there are more experienced folks on here...
