I even received a letter saying I still needed to make an appointment, while the website said they weren't taking appointments because of Corona. They got a phone call because of that.

I received confirmation a few weeks ago that I would be granted a permanent residence permit. I already had an appointment for the biometrics in early April, but that was cancelled. I'm just waiting...

I agree with this assuming his licence is not valid for life. Driving licences for European countries are covered by EU regulations.

Mobdro is simply to use. Kodi is more complicated. What do you use to watch? I use Mobdro on Android and Kodi on Android and Windows.

You're expected to send them proof. You get confirmation from the British authorities that you have renounced your nationality and you send that.

When I first came here, I was doing jobs that didn't require Dutch, because the Dutch didn't want to do the jobs I was doing. English was the lingua franca between us immigrants.
