And we tried different salespeople....

You can only do the visa-medical when you have recieved your number....Which is generated when the agent loged your visa...
BUT: As the visa won't be granted without one and the doctors...

DO NOT! I repeat DO NOT! book flights before the visa is granted.
Visa Grant times vary a lot...And there are heaps of people who had to start one or two courses later as there visa didn't get thru...

Try to make them "totally powerless" for at least 20 Minutes... So "power them off" before their normal "power switch".... Sometimes that helps....

When they hire you as AO you for sure do the "AO"-Time as they tell you. It is extremly unlikely that there will be a shortcut.

Had a direct comparison a few times (Emirates to Singapore)... And for me it is a problem as in the emirates seat I only can sit "diagonal", the singapore one (still is narrow but fits;) )...Those...

there business class producy seems to be quite good (never used it, all my J Class expierence is with swiss,LH, singapore& emirates)....
in Cattle class from what I heard they often have a problem...

AA&united have 2-5-2 (which parctically is the same as 3-3-3...9 seats in total..), although United's new config also is 3-3-3...

Saudi indeed is 3-4-3...(although they are changing it to 3-3-3 as...

Just double checked with seatguru.... Singapore uses 3-3-3 on their 777, Emirates 3-4-3...
(BA, Cathay, Ethiat, El Al, Air NZ, Qatar, usw. all use 3-3-3,the only other Airlines I'm aware of using...

For the "cheaper" Dysons there is not much difference...For the more expensive ones there can be a huge difference..

As we could buy ours on a "amazon.de dyson special" we ended up saving 50%...

BTW: Amazon.de ships most electronics to OZ....
It's about 40€ for the shipment (with UPS)...Which still can be a good price...

My brand new Dyson was there within 4 working days....

After Flying a lot during the last years (although not on the OZ-Routes):
I do not so much judge a airline by service (this is very often too much depending on each day/crew) but by their problem...

For mobile: Definitly Telstra. Bit more expensive...But I had a Optus Sim before and after a week throwed it away...Nothing but "blind spots" on their network, slow connection, etc...
