Re: English goalkeepers

Better to make a mistake in the group stages than at the knock out round.

P.s. which group are Scotland in? I can't seem to find them.

Re: Will the 2010 World Cup Unite anyone from the home Nations?

Re: For all our English readers..

Yes it was a poor result for England against a very average USA side.

Re: Will the 2010 World Cup Unite anyone from the home Nations?

True, we should have won easily. The USA passed the ball well but were poor at finishing and even worse in defence.

In fairness I was only joking about Rob Green.

Re: For all our English readers..

That's rich coming from someone gloating about England drawing . Scotland are a poor football team and failed to qualify for the world cup.

Re: For all our English readers..

Yep, we had more than enough chances to win. While USA looked lively up they were pretty average in defence and were there for the taking.

Re: BAD START FOR ENGLISH.

I see Stuart Holden elected to play for the USA too save himself the embarrassment of playing for Scotland.

Re: Will the 2010 World Cup Unite anyone from the home Nations?

England 1 - Rob Green (poor lad) 1.

Did anyone see Clint Demsey's celebration? I would have been embarrassed celebrating a weak shot that the goalie threw into the net.

I take it they are not showing the Germany game then? Given Germany's hooligans at the last World Cup?

Wolrd Cup - Getting BBC commentary

Does anyone know if it's possible to get BBC commentary live on the internet for the World Cup?

Having watched both games on SBS so far, the standard of commentary is pretty average.

Re: Did anyone buy the iPad?

Surely they could have come up with a better name. At least one that didn't sound like a lady's sanitary item.
