In Canada HGV/LGV Class 2 is a DZ licence, the D being rigid and the Z being Airbrake endorsment ticket (which you have to have knowledge of) for example AZ is the british Class 1 with Airbrake...

IMHO i'm not sure that your husband loves Canada more than you, it may be the fact that he see's a brighter future for you both in Canada, a new lease of life rather than the monotonous dreary life...

Yeh i read Dave's blog, its pretty inspiring stuff. My wife read it too and said its a different world, "but defferent is better" she said. i'm happy enough with NB just got to get down to it now....
