Re: Online application, attaching documents: Certified?

I have the same dilemma. Sounds too easy, and people talk about certifying things all the time.
Does it really mean that if I send colour scans I don't certify ANY documents? Not even passports or...

Re: Frustration of working with people who have poor spoken English

I always thought that people who deal with somebody's health - nurses, doctors and carers SHOULD know English very well. I can't imagine horror when my child stays at hospital and the nurse doesn't...

Re: DIAC told me 2231-79 (Oracle Spec) does NOT require reassessment

You're right, I knew they were very similar and most responsibilities overlap.
I saw on one forum people were wondering if it wasn't a mistake that Software and Applications programmers NEC 261399...

Re: DIAC told me 2231-79 (Oracle Spec) does NOT require reassessment

Actually I don't understand why they mapped well specialised programmers to NEC category which is not on SOL....

Re: DIAC told me 2231-79 (Oracle Spec) does NOT require reassessment

I think so too, if you reassess, the skill is overwritten.

I think reassessment and getting a NEW assessment are two different things.
Some of you can reassess your ASCO code for free, but guys...

Re: DIAC told me 2231-79 (Oracle Spec) does NOT require reassessment

They are different assessments, true, but the question is: if your old one hasn't expired yet (but the job is on SOL or ENSOL) AND you got a new one for a different job, are they BOTH valid?
For...

Re: DIAC told me 2231-79 (Oracle Spec) does NOT require reassessment

Thank you, Oliman!

We sent two emails asking ACS if it is possible to hold two valid ACS assessments at the same time (that is for TWO jobs), but the first answer was copy-paste info about mapping...

Re: DIAC told me 2231-79 (Oracle Spec) does NOT require reassessment

It's not a bad plan, but won't a new assessment "override" the old one?
What if you have CO and he says your current assessment is different than the one you used for SS and Visa?
By the time ...

Re: ss and 176 help required

We are in the same situation. Submitted SS form to SA before May 7th and on their tracking system we can read that documents were received May 14th.
But I'm very curious - is there anyone who...

Re: Temporary suspension of State sponsorship processing

I'm afraid Wookie is right. And I'm also afraid that those who have sent for SS before May 7th MAY have to re-apply after those changes.
As for programmers... My partner is the primary applicant,...

Re: sufficient funds??? queensland state sponsorship

Thank you, Missa. :)
Well I was a bit worried because marriage is more formal (also legally) and proof of being partners goes to DIAC and not to a state. So still I'm not 100% sure.
On the other...

Re: sufficient funds??? queensland state sponsorship

Well, I have a slightly different situation:
My partner is going to apply for Qld state sponsorship. I am going to be a secondary applicant on his Visa (skilled, state sponsored - 176). I wonder if...
