Stupid Question

I'm arriving tomorrow and just wanted to confirm the docs I need to obtain my TWP. I have:

My CIC approval letter, LMO, copy of job offer, copy of Police Certificate

Oh and my passport, or...

DPA does actually cover paper records if they are filed in a system according to a person's name - which they would be in this case.

Sorry to be technical. DPA isn't as well known as it should be.

Just to correct what some other people have been saying...

Under the data protection act they are allowed to charge you up to £10 if your records are computerised, or up to £50 if they are paper...

Visiting the UK from Canada

This is a really stupid question, but one I've not considered until now. I have a TWP and will be leaving for Newfoundland on Monday, but am I allowed to come back to England to visit? I would hope...

Mine took around a month to come back from the embassy. I submitted it in early December, and a couple of weeks later they asked for a Police Certificate - which takes around 10 days. I submitted...

Working as a creative for a small company. Which somehow reminds me, I need to look up about Health Insurance...have no idea what to do there - since they system is a bit different to the UK
