Visiting the UK from Canada
This is a really stupid question, but one I've not considered until now. I have a TWP and will be leaving for Newfoundland on Monday, but am I allowed to come back to England to visit? I would hope the answer is yes, but I can imagine for whatever reason that I might have to re apply for a TWP.

yes you can visit, I returned to england for a short visit a couple of times whilst on a TWP. there were no problems

You can go where you like, you are british remember!
Just make sure the permit doesnt fall out of your passport anywhere, they normally staple it in, but I had to re-staple mine a couple of times.
