Thanks everyone. We're the lower Blue Mtns now and today is 33 degrees.. we have aircon but we don't use it a lot because the house is quite shady with a lot of trees around.

We had a look at Cronulla but the house prices are way out of our range. The places I saw were upwards of $1000 pw. Unless they decide to start paying cops heaps more??? Not likely!
