Work to residence Restrictions??

Does anyone know if the work to residence visa has any restrictions such as spouse unable to work, paying for school fees etc.

My occupation is on the long term shortage list and this is the visa...

Do you mean it is mega cheap or expensive. It looks a long way north. Wouldn't move anywhere without a visit and thorough investigation first!!

Just read your post and I must admit although I don't think the UK is all doom and gloom I am keen to live in Canada after spending lots of time there travelling.

I have looked on the internet for hours and cannot find out how long a travel document for Permanent Resident Abroad is valid for?
