I've been lucky enough to travel around Canada many times but never been to Nova Scotia. When reading the immigration forum it appears many Brits are moving there and just wanted to hear the benefits of moving to that province. Is property cheaper or job prospects better ??

Property is cheaper than some parts of Canada. Taxes are higher than most parts of Canada.jobs are fewer than most parts of Canada. However if you can live with a small mortgage, get a job and put up with giving away to CRA most of your hard earned cash it is a wonderful place to live!!!!! Oh and it used to be easy to get into immigration wise.

Yes houses look cheap, but this has to be taken into account when you consider wages and cost of living, level of taxes etc as others have mentioned.
I love it here though and wouldn't change a thing, but its not for everyone.
