Got my visa finally,
visa subclass 176, sponsorship from NSW
applied on 12 of August this year, all together it took exactly 5 months for ASPC.

ok, this I didn't know, but then I dont understand why people apply for 457 visa if they can pay visa fee by themself and get PR? can somebody explain?

the thing is that employer doesnt have to pay anything in a case of 457 visa but he must pay a visa fee for you in a case of nomination for 121 Visa, since nobody wants to lose 2500 dollars it's not...

as far as I remember he has to be in Oz for at least 2 years, afterwards he has to pay 40 thousands dollars per one parent and only then your application will be considered, usually it takes 2-3...

well as far as I understood we can expect some news in the middle of December, DIAC will announce new changes for the next year, hopefully we will benefit out of it!

if DIAC chaged the rules without any notification how can you be sure that DIAC won't change...

I guess it will be much better if you call them because I am not sure that anybody else can really answer your question.
