I have yet to owe UK tax.

For US tax, I use TurboTax and follow the standard rental property section. It covers rental property outside the US.

We have the same situation - just calculate all the numbers and split 50/50 when you come to complete the return. Usually we leave a note in one of the extra boxes to state that the property is...

I'm planning to travel back to the UK in December and I will need to visit the US Embassy for Visa stamping. In the past visa appointments have only been released something like ~8 weeks in...

I also used Walgreens and it was accepted.

I didn't have them cut to size - so I had a larger piece of paper with the two photos on it in UK dimensions. I figured it was easier for the person...

I just sent my application using UPS worldwide express to the Durham location. $65 with signature required on delivery, due by Monday 23 September 12pm.

I'll report back once it arrives.

I have an outstanding PERM from August 2012 that went to audit December 2012. Still waiting on a response.

I believe the DOL dates are based on when the PERM was first submitted.

Be prepared for more waiting. The PERM processing times seem like they are going backwards. Appears that without audit, typical wait times are up to 120 days, with audit up to 300 days.
