Hi Rene,
got my memory back.This was on the other side of the Atlantic in the UK.
The "dark forces UK"pulled my now wife into detention twice when she stated that she wanted to visit her fiance.

Not so sure. I hope I can dig this out but I read somewhere that the fact that you are married is being seen as the intent to immigrate and as a "intent to stay" regardless what you say at the POE.

my understanding is that you are already married for 2 years?

This will be be interesting to see the outcome of your case. To my understanding
a marriage is seen as "intent to immigrate"...

Yes it came trough almost right after I received the NOA. Had a small mess with USPS otherwise I would have received at the same day.

yup - that's your AOS interview. Nobody can predict how it will go. just to prepared with all documents which can be used as evidence for your genuine marriage.

Yes that's the normal AOS interview.

And also yes you need to bring everything you filed before.that's why you send only copies + you will need bring additional evidence of your relationship like...

With a expired L1A you will be "unlawfully present in the USA".

the affidavit is most likely not needed but it will also cause no harm.

So I added a letter from a friend and another from my Fire Chief.

no I don't think so. If I remember correctly you were married already.
To my knowledge this can and most likely will be seen as "pre conceived intent to immigrate".

yes you will get another protection order.I would strongly recommend to get a attorney from a welfare or charity or even a ask the court to assign a attorney if you want to get a protection...
