We felt the same with our daughter and when one of her teachers emailed me to tell me she sits on her own in class every lunchtime and doesn't speak to anyone, we were so worried.
She did eventually...

I have my Tim Horton mug and Tim Horton coffee for my machine but it's still not the same:( Although I have just found some french vanilla instant coffee in Waitrose that is almost as good...

Probably just the weather, the rain seems to be never ending, although we don't seem to have it as bad as some, with flooding etc.... so thankful for that and there have been some pretty fantastic...

We were only in Canada just over a year, she was 13 when we left, she found it very hard to settle/make friends/school etc.... there, she was 15 on our return, so missed a whole school year and a bit...

Or you could both buy a Blackberry, then BBM each other, rather than text, which is totally free in all countries :thumbsup: I have a T Mobile 12 month contract here in UK, for £15 a month you get...

Well I am just saying this was our experience just 6 weeks ago, we phoned Air Transat, they put us through to said cargo dept, they said you can't book directly with us only an approved Pet Agency...

It cost us 260 pounds to take our cat from the UK to Canada and a year later it cost us 970 pounds to bring her back, so you will find that it's more expensive to get them back than to take them...

Yes, they do, Canadian Affair/Air Transat require a pet agency to book on your behalf, they won't let you book directly with them.

I do believe Air Canada will let you book directly with them and...

& can you all shush with the food talk;) The kitchen fitters are putting new worktops in and I can't get into the kitchen to eat:( I've only had a packet of 'Frazzles' all day :lol:

The other thing for us was the cost of kid's activities.
Our daughter has done athletics since the age of 8, represented the county at the age of 10 and 12 in long jump...
