I'm coming out permanently to Vancouver in May 2016 (did a short landing Sept 2014) - just booked a one-way from London Gatwick for £230. Can't quite believe it - an equivalent flight on Air Canada...

Hi Siouxie - yes, have tried but it was 20 years ago in Vancouver and the BC Cancer Agency and my Doctors at the time no longer have my records. I'll have to bite the bullet I think ...

Thanks all - yes, wise words, just a bit annoyed that I have to fork out yet more money a couple of weeks after paying £300 for the medical! Its proving to be an incredibly expensive process this...

Hi all,

I am applying under FSW1 from the UK and have recently had my medicals in London. On the medical questionnaire that the doctor went through with me it asked about any history of cancer....
