If you maybe stress with your CO how important it is for you to be in the country sooner, they may fast track you slightly, or prioritise your case. Reading through threads on various forums, people...

you can apply on or offshore.. it doesnt matter. I think its cheaper to apply offshore though.. hope this helps

aye same here.. as long as your girlfriend has citizenship. We applied in january.. CO said 2-4months. You have to get meds done and police checks too which can take about a month getting done and...

the only stuff we sent with the original application was the statements.. one from my mum (aussie citizen) and the best man from our wedding. We didnt send any photos, bills, nothing with addresses...

when you arrive there. We're waiting on my husbands visa currently. We're in with my folks and litereally got nothing, will just be going over with a couple of suitcases, just praying his visa comes...

once you have your certificate, you have to ring for an appointment at australia house. You can only book an apt 4 weeks in advance i think. Just go down with everything you need and bobs yer mum,...

AAAAAAHHHHHH! You cant lodge a cheque.. but the woman on the phone was telling me to check my email but they havent bothered to get in touch to arrange another payment. Not in the junk box or inbox....

Its my husband thats applying so ill make sure with him. Im pretty sure on the forms it says you can. But I'll check over that. Yeah we sent it special delivery. I know it would take 5 working days...
