We have the $56 fido planes. Unlimited messaging worldwide :) No fixed contract, I think a $15 cancellation fee if you want to move elsewhere.

Glasgow vs Nova Scotia is different to Vancouver vs Cornwall or Red Deer vs London. Then add different outgoings in these locations you quickly realise that the cost of living comparison is different...

We needed to have an Amex card in the UK for a year before we were able to do a switch to an overseas card (US.) We have a card in the US for 2 years now so we should be OK to switch again.

My commute has rarely been less than an hour. At the moment it's minimum 1 1/4 hours each way. When we get to Vancouver, if it was an hour, I'd be happy enough.

That is slightly contrary to information given on the website. If you are not entitled to an SSN you can get a DL without one. But if you are entitled to one (like myself....I am waiting for one) you...
