i've used ExpatShield twice this weekend, once to watch the Scotland-Serbia game (AlJazeera Eng) and once to watch the Partick Thistle-Raith Rovers game (BBC Alba), and it worked perfectly!

You nudge whenever you feel like it....many thanks, thanks to your advice I did get it sorted. Took the thing back to The Future Shop, and went off to Walmart and paid sod all. A thousand thanks. I felt stupid, but I just didn't know!

VPN is no longer a viable option to watch foreign TV because they got too popular and now speeds (and prices) are atrocious. Best download the shows directly from iPlayer instead of streaming them. There are quite a few 'French' made software that do this.
On the VPN i use i get 4-5mb download speed at the other end which is great for streaming standard definition programmes no lag no buffering great quality picture not quick enough to watch HD content though...i always watch match of the day live on the BBC on Saturday afternoons here.
