It is Extremely hard to get into the USA right now - becuase they are not issuing Visa's. PLUS it is hard for us over here right now to get new employment.....dont forget the reason to get your visa...

then can she marry her UKC boyfriend ? (& obviously have to live apart until they can be together)

Hi I have a friend who is a US resident and wont be able to apply for citizenship for about 18 months yet. She is in love with a UKC and they want to marry and of course get him over to the USA...

Hi, We moved from Wales to east coast of Florida 2.5 yrs ago and we love it here....just returned from our first trip back to UK last week and it confirmed we made the right decision.

The pay for a cop isnt that good in the US either - not compared to the pay in the UK...my Hubby was a cop but he got pensioned off on medical grounds but even if he wanted to be a cop he has to be...

I didnt get anything from the hospital that initially sponsored me...when I left there after 5 months (long story) the other hospital offered me a relocation package but it never came through...BUT...

Yes it is possible to do this on your own...I started out with an Agency but half way through they ceased to exist....it took me 3.1 years to get here in the USA. I believe you can get here a lot...
