We landed as permanent residents back in Oct 2009 and have since bought our own home. Do we need to inform CIC that we have moved? Everything on their website only seems to relate to people still...

I had my Computer Science BSc Degree accredited and they said it was equivalent to a 3 year degree from a Canadian University. Certainly helped when I was looking for a job too.

I just spoke to CRA and thought I'd post their response in case if helps anyone else.

The first agent told me it sounded as if I would be classed as Self Employed as I am not reimbursed for work...

Did you manage to get such a letter from them? We have been with NW for about 7 years for all of our bank accounts and mortgage so a letter such as this may prove useful to us too.
