Re: Hello, 20 years in Aus!

Regrettably, this is widespread.

I've been denied access to places, been abused and hassled, had an inflated cost of living, etc. when living overseas, but my experiences pales compared to...

Re: Hello, 20 years in Aus!

Some move overseas and assimilate into the local culture. Others cluster together in ethnic enclaves. Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur have a "Little India" and a "Chinatown". London has districts where...

Re: Returning to the UK in 2025. Advice appreciated

WE can be more fearless when younger. I moved away from my hometown, then overseas without much concern or deep thought, but it would feel a bigger step to move countries now.

Re: Starmer hatches new free movement plot with Spain

a. Rule it out, i.e. it won't happen unless he changes his mind (flip flops), or
b. Say he had no plans to introduce it, i.e. it will definitely happen?

Re: Starmer hatches new free movement plot with Spain

This proves my point; the forecast and the criticism of it were in the public domain, not hidden. Reeves, an experienced economist with a team of advisors, would surely use different assumptions in...
