I was amazed at the rgbb registration fee.. 300 SAR just to register. I think that's a bit too much. I suppose its for busniness groups!! St'George is only 100 and tickets aren't guaranteed.

My sponsor booked us a return ticket when we arrived the first time in Saudi. They recommended that we don't use the return so one can always have a leg back. In fact they don't issue but return...

The rent for 1 bedroom apartment is around this figure of SAR 65.000 per annum, around SAR 3.000 per month. Of course it all depends on the compound and the facilities you access.

Internet is available in Saudi via STC or Mobiley also the new provider GO. You just need to go to one of their shops in Malls and set up the contract. They will connect you immediatley. I pay 300...

Living outside a compound as you are a single bloke is not so so difficult. You will have access to real Riyadh local life including eating in local Saudi restaurants and walking...
