thanks for all the replys!!! sadly i am in no way covered by my card, bank dont want to know.. :( the laptop i was buying was new. i have already half resigned myself to treating this as a lesson...

maybe you need to stop living in fear? of maybe youve had a soft life? but to me Torry aint that bad, plenty worse places in uk... London for one

Torrevieja aint so bad these days, i feel quite safe walking around. As long as you keep your wits about you same as you have to in any big UK city
