I do like my dentist over here but I'm just coming to the end of some very long treatments after an accident, which is why I'm keen to set set this up as soon as I get over there.

You should get it back early next week, if not in the next couple of days. It usually takes them about 3-4 days to stick the visa in and send it back. I had to send mine from less than a mile away...

I would definitely check out the immigration website for the restrictions to the 457 before deciding

Congratulations on getting your visa Claire!!! Hope you get everything sorted out for the visas and stuff.

Getting a TFN is no problem as long as you have the paperwork, just like the visa app :)...

Hi,

The meds were couriered from the doctor to the High commission and they have sent them to Sydney. Not sure if they've used snail mail or DHL etc as once the doctor has written your med forms...

I applied for my 457 online on the 20th of Feb, I got an acknowledgement within 12 hours and a request for medicals and a copy of my passport in the same e-mail.
