I am not sure if you need to do it as believe they would consider you for both 175 and 176 anyway as they are the same visa class, however as they are currently not processing 175 (non CSL) apps I...

Timeline as follows:

17th Aug 08 - applied for 175 visa (MODL)
17th Jan 09 - applied for WA state sponsorship to switch to 176 visa (as not on CSL list)
23 April 09 - received WA state...

Hi Helloshivahere, I asked this question to WA whilst I was waiting and was told that unless they need extra information from you, they dont generally inform you by email. You just receive the letter...

From what has been published, there is absolutely no basis for these 12 - 18 month / 2 year timelines being talked about. At the end of the day the pile of applications has simply been reshuffled...

I know what you guys mean, I applied 17.01.09 and still nothing. Someone on a different site who applied mid jan called WA earlier this week and were told to expect to wait another 2 weeks. Mind you...
