No, I'm not an agent, just did this as part of my work as the company I work for wanted to sponsor someone, and it landed on me to do the paperwork.

I can reconfirm what Polyanna says - I just finished handling a 457 visa processing (from employer's perspective) , and a 457 was granted just last week to a new applicant (in Sydney).
