Which is what mine is ;) I love it and have done from the moment I got it done 2 years ago! I shall find a pic! I have always had compliments on it, even though it is a bit big lol

We went through the exact same when we migrated from the UK to NZ. Everything went according to plan (!!) but then the last 2-3 weeks before leaving, we were just finalising the house...

Hmm, approx 450/500 pounds. For all my gripes though, I'd still much rather put my kids through school over this side of the world as opposed to the knife-weilding students that harass the UK school...

My eldest starts college (high school) this coming February here in NZ, for all his uniform, books, activity fees (woodwork, economics etc), donations etc. it's going to cost $1200 NZ$

Here in New Zealand, they invoice you and have the choice of paying monthly direct debit or all in one go! There was talk of one school naming and shaming the parents who didn't/couldn't pay :mad:

ahhh thanks for that! It really is shocking just how far back they will hold a child here for those few hundred $$. It's very expensive as it is without having to add those into the mix too.

We're hoping to move to the Gold Coast/Brisbane and just wondered, if like New Zealand, you pay school 'donations'. If no-one is familiar with it, you're 'asked' to pay the donation and can refuse...
