Goverment Guarantee - banks

Does any one know if and how much do the government in Australia guarantee with the banks with individual investors? In the UK the guarantee is £50,000.

A grade exams

Hi I'm an British electrician and will be taking the a grade 2 week course when I arrive in Oz shortly. Does any one have experience in this or have some info that I can share.

When they approved my skills assessment all it said was
"Application Type: Class VE, subclass 175 Skilled - Independent".
A while later they changed the tra for another method of assessing.

To validate we are going to Cairns and the Gold coast but when we go forever we will most likely go to WA but it's not set in stone.

I asked my agent that they should contact the visa people and ask where I was on the"waiting list" they did and guess what.......? I immediately was given a CO!

Still waiting ................ for movememt.......any movement!!
But on the bright side i'm off to the States for Crimbo, which means that i won't be obsessed with getting a CO or Visa for a week.
