Delighted that 856 Visa granted on Wed 14th April. Was officially lodged in Paramatta Office on Dec 9th. :thumbsup:

Thats 5 months, including Christmas & Easter holidays.

Simple answer, no. I followed their booklet word for word, sent my stuff in and got letter back confirming grade of visa entitlement. Easy to do and so cheap, AUD$150 if I remember correctly. An...

I like the new tennis system, three chances to review hawk eye, if you are wrong you lose one chance, if you are right you stay at three. Maybe a one or two chance system in football would work?

I've just been told that I won't be exempt for fee of $2k by putting in for 856 visa (onshore) now, even though I have paid my 175 (offshore) application, it only applies to New Zealand citizens who...

I'm just about to have my 856 application submitted by an agent and he said it will take approx 6-8 weeks for visa grant. :fingerscrossed:

I haven't read all 37 pages of this...

WHV valid up to April 1 2010. I have work and my employer said he would help out with letters etc if they aided or accelerated an option with extending stay on temp visa or employer nominated scheme,...
