First match in Brisbane 25th November. I recommend that any expats living in Aus register with the Australian cricket family (ACF). This gives priority in buying tickets next year.
Check here: http://cricket.com.au/default.aspx?s...splay&id=17360 for info and dont forget register!!

Thanks. I've registered (though as a Scot, I'll be supporting Australia

By the time the match starts there might be a couple of Scots playing for England. They already have a couple of Irish, a couple of South Africans...

The place was an absolute mess from start to finish and really put me off going to other Aussie cricket matches.

really? I was there for all five days too. The performance by England was shocking and set the tone for the rest of the series. Then the behaviour (racist chanting from parts of the crowd, expulsion of drunk fans) of the fans was some of the worst I have ever seen at any sporting venue. Then there was the treatment of English fans by Cricket Australia, deliberately not allowing them to sit together, but in the same manner allowing the "Fanatics" to all conglomerate. Then there was also the banning of the Mexican wave.

Registered too, I'm sure I'm in a minority as an Irishman who loves cricket, although, turning over Pakistan in the last World Cup did generate a bit more interest in the game.
As said in previous messages, God knows what countries will be represented in the English side, seeing as the star player is S.African>

I agree that the atmosphere is different to that of a Test match played in England where if you are not the member of the right club there is no chance of gaining entry and I did not mention the display of the team in those 5 days.
But IMO it was a great occasion and although the England fans could not all sit together there was plenty of noise from the approx 10,000 there on the first day. If you are of such a gentle demeanor I suggest you stick to Test matches in England or Lawn bowls in Australia!
