I did my tax return this year and used the Bank of Canada average annual exchange rate of 1.79 . However I actually did not get anything like this rate when I transferred my pensions over in October...

Would not the rate given by the bank not be less than a money transfer company and I bank with Presidents Choice which does not have branches just an information kiosk in the Real Canadian...
