yup, I mean, what will happen if he doesn't turn up in court (aside from not being able to come back to Dubai) - it's not like they're going to extradite him on that charge, is it? If he's found guilty, that is...

Naive question of the day: Is the (presumably Emirati) driver also being prosecuted, for threatening and abusive behaviour?
I have heard that if you get into any sort of trouble, make sure you're the first one on the phone to the cops--appartently that marks you as the wronged, and the other person as the wrongdoer. King wonderful system.
