You can make a butty with sliced bread but it's not as good, especially when chips are involved. The slices aren't substantial enough.
A sardine and tomato paste butty, however, is nice made with either.

"Breadcake" I mean it's proper say-what-you-see language isn't it?

Very small tuna salad (fit-on-a-saucer size), obligatory kimchi, grilled fish, tofu & seaweed soup, then two tsp of almond butter for dessert.

Lunch for me: steamed broccoli with carrots and lentils on the side. As usual. Just like every single work day.

Very jealous of the sausage rolls

My options are miserable. Food on the plane or a Big Mac. Don’t think coffee will carry me through until 7pm when I get home.

Nightly dinner is a plain spinach salad with a single hard boiled egg. Which also does the job.

Last night's Butter Chicken done in the slow cooker, enough to keep me going for a couple of days. (Actually no butter: chicken, onion, garlic, ginger, coconut milk, tinned toms, cumin, cardamon, coriander, cayenne pepper, lemon juice; but it's buttery.)

Sounds awesome.

I had homemade mushy peas (well, initially Bachelors Bigga tin and some Bicarb) and fish fillets in batter.
